White Chili


3-4 cans of beans (Navy, Cannellini, Great Northern, Black Eyed Peas, Chick Peas, etc.)
1-2 cans white corn or hominy
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can green chilis
1-1/2 cup of turkey or chicken (cooked and broken up)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup of turkey broth or chicken broth


Saute onions in olive oil, add rest of ingredients.  Simmer for one hour.
